The “whatevers” and “whenevers” will strike in life for sure. When this happens we must, “trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not to thy own understanding, and in all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct our path.” (Proverbs 3:5-6). According to these verses the condition in which we receive direction is when we acknowledge Him in all thy ways. The problem is when the “whatevers” and “whenevers” strike we want direction but we have not acknowledged him at all. We can be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. But if we want direction we must acknowledge Him first. God Bless!!!
Amen!! You are correct, we must FIRST acknowledge the LORD. We must indeed!! We need to diligently seek His guidance and wisdom to lead us in the right direction. Trust is the KEY. Your quote of Proverbs 3:5-6 encourages us to reach out beyond ourselves (and what we think we “know”) and place our trust in the One who knows ALL!
