So true!!! The enemy is a defeated foe for sure, but the lie he will tell us is that he is not defeated. That is why we must live according to James 4:7. We must submit ourselves unto God and resist the devil and he will flee. Bottom line is we must treat him like a defeated foe, and this can only be accomplished by submitting unto God. “Submit to God, defeat the enemy.”
I like that above comment “Submit to God, defeat the enemy”. Those who submit to Him also cannot be defeated because God has given us authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions, over all of the power of the enemy and nothing shall hurt you (Luke 10:19). If I’m treading on the enemy that means he belongs in one place, under my feet. Anything under me can’t have power. We have the victory
